A little psychoeducation
Attachment is how your nervous system learned to love.
Early relationships teach us what to expect when we need someone: will they come close, stay steady, or drift? Those lessons become patterns we carry into friendships, dating, partnership, and even work.
Researchers often describe these patterns along two dimensions: anxiety (worry about closeness being lost) and avoidance (discomfort with depending on others). Everyone has some of both. Knowing yours isn't about labels — it's about choice.
